Synopsis:

Based on novel “Ai ni Ranbou” by Shuichi Yoshida (published 2011 – 2012 in Nagasaki Shimbun).

Momoko has been married for eight years and lives in a separate house built on the grounds of her husband’s family home.

To shake off the slight stress she receives from her mother-in-law and her husband’s indifference, she strives to live a “careful life” by dressing smartly and preparing elaborate meals, making every day fulfilling.

But then, disturbing events begin to occur around Momoko. Suspicious fires occur one after another at a nearby garbage dump, her beloved cat disappears, and there is a creepy account about an affair… Momoko’s peaceful daily life begins to get a little messed up, and before she knows it, she is cornered and develops an abnormal obsession with what is under the floorboards..
