When you visit the small town you will see every house looks beautiful, full of unique architecture. The charming old town of Colmar is the path of winding cobblestone streets lined with many hundred year old houses. This well preserved as historical area is located between the Rue des Tetes, Rue des clefs and the Rue des Marchans which is near the Saint Martin Church. When you visit the old town, first you can begin with the road in front of the newly built Gothic church that been establish in the 18th century. Also known as Place de la Cathedrale of the 16th square in the center of Colmar’s old town. In this area there is an important historical monument like Gardener of Ancien Corps. When you crossing to Colmar’s old town then will see the beauty of wooden houses that make by wood. The old building that is built in a conservation style is called the Timbe frame style house that looks like house with main structure which is similar to Tudor style.
This old town have many houses and museums which are famous attractions and you will love them as old ancient style while you want to stay on the past era. Like, the first place that I recommended is the Underlinden Museum. This museum is famous because is for present to Matthias Grunewald’s work and this is the most visited museum in France that you never mention. Underlinden Museum features a collection of popular art pieces from Alsace and Upper Rhine from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. Therefore considered in the collection of sacred archaeological works in modern art style.
In the Maison des tetes is place that remarkable house in the Renaissance. As they build this plaace into the Renaissance style and was built in 1609. This beautiful building is a shady courtyard.Around this area also have outdoor restaurant that connects to Boulanger street. When you taste their food at the restaurant and you sit from outside and you can look around this area then you will see many interest to do like take a photo of the building or look at their people. There are also important buildings with a lot of story from their historic place in the old town of Colmar.
For the old town in Colmar have main activity that is exploring to the beauty of traditional houses and art since from the middle of the century from France. You can also learn the art and history of the city as well. Not only know this place that you will also gain knowledge about the history of Colmar and their admire of art works in various eras. Including taking photos with the backdrop of beautiful house building and see a postcard shop in the generally lined from a path in this area and choose the postcard to send to a special person such as family and friends. The important thing that is indispensable is the shops and restaurants because this is the area that you will find excellent restaurants. You will be able to find Colmar’s unique traditional food and local food from here to try and taste it too.

How to travel to Colmar city?
Cormal city is not a large city but they have most sightseeing in the city and you can walk around the city. But if you travel from Paris then you can use the TGV high-speed train to get to the city. The station that you can get to here is Colmar Station and from this station that you can see the old town and can be found first when you arrive.
