
Musee Bartholdi Museum is famous museum as the heart of old town Colmar city which have displays picture of famous artist who was born in Colmar city and world famous sculptures. The Statue of Liberty in France from Auguste Bartholdi Artist had been send to America as a gift.
Musee Bartholdi Museum located in Colmar city which was the home of Auguste Bartholdi. He was an artist who created many outstanding works of the world including the goddess of peace in New York, Lion of Belfort, and etc. The interior of this museum have special place that reserved for the original form. The building spread throughout to 3 floors that show many style of his work. Not only his work are in this museum but they also put his living style such as the living room with furniture, family retreat, and souvenirs from the artists as well. Besides of Bartholdi collection this museum also have room that displays on Jewish art collection and room for reserved of temporary exhibitions. All of artwork are various prizes.
Get to museum will start from anywhere on the city map. You can head to the Rue des Marchands and find the Musee Bartholdi then you will see beautiful building with the silver colored in front of Les grands soutiens du mound. They open daily except Tuesday is close. Each day will be divided into 2 periods from morning on 10.00 am to 12.00 pm and afternoon from 14.00 pm to 18.00 pm.

Museum has admission fees for adults tickets price is 6 euros, for students with ID show and seniors older than 60 years old and up price will be 3.50 euros and free tickets for children and younger than 18 years. There are special price tickets for tourists from 10 or more people in a special admission ticket price at 4 Euros.
