After collapsing income on the box office to a landslide So Sony isn’t in a rush to push the Venom sequel out for a profit once again. Recently, it has been reported that the movie has begun to develop by bringing back Kelly Marcel, who edited the script from the first film, to write the script for me.
The source confirmed only Marcel’s name. As for whether there will be any script writers to join, it is not yet known. Marcel is also responsible for producing both films.
Although it has yet to be confirmed, Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams and Woody Harrelson are expected to reprise their roles, while director Reuben Fletcher is uncertain. Will come back to direct or not? Because it may be involved in the Zombieland 2 project.
The first Venom grossed $855 million (US$213 million) worldwide on a $100 million budget and was the highest grossing film in October.
