Tsuruhashi or 鶴橋市場 is one of the Korean communities in Osaka that located at 〒 544-0031 1 through 2 Tsuruhashi, Ikuno-ku, Osaka. This area can be call “Korean Town of Osaka”. The Tsuruhashi and Ikuno-ku districts are known that have the large number of Zainichi Korean living there and many families from Korea been live here for more than three generations. Around this area will give the atmosphere of a Little Soul among of the bustling neighborhoods and feel with friendly atmosphere in Osaka. Many people also well known as Tsuruhashi Korea Market.
Tsuruhashi-Ichiba in Osaka will give you of three description of Tennoji, Higashinari and Ikuno. At this area you will see shopping street all over about 800 shops in six marketplaces. How to get to Tsuruhashi Market?
Tsuruhashi Station or 鶴橋駅 or Tsuruhashi-eki is station that you can get to this market. The railway station of Tsuruhashi district is served by the JR West Osaka Loop Line, the Kintetsu Nara Line and the Osaka Metro Sennichimae Line. After you arrive to Tsuruhashi Station then turn right from this station. It is outside of the station.

- Route 18: for Tamatsukuri via Uehommachi Rokuchome / for Kita-Tatsumi Bus Terminal via Miyukidori

- Route 73: for Namba / for Deto Bus Terminal via Katsuyama Yonchome and Kumata
Example – on how to get to Tsuruhashi Market from Umeda Station. You can take JR Osaka Loop Line at Osaka Station by walk from Umeda Station around 400 meter. On JR Osaka Loop Line ride to Tsuruhashi Station about 7 stop and walk to the market around 200 meter. Cost about 180 Yen for one way ride.
