Wat Uphai Phatikaram Temple located on Supphakit Road near Talat Ban Mai (Ban Mai Market). Wat Uphai Phati karam (วัดอุทัยผาติการาม) was initially a Chinese temple. However, it has since been transformed into a Vietnamese temple of the Buddhist Mahayana sect. A Chinese-style pavilion houses the statue of Chaopho Sam Po Kong, or Luangpho To (PhraTrairattanaNayok) – one of only three Buddha images of its kind in Thailand. On weekends, visitors from Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan eagerly arrive to pay homage to the image. The temple is open daily from 7.00 am-5.00 pm.
