Synopsis:

The play is adapted from Wei Yu’s novel “Seven Evil Slips”. In ancient times, meteorite iron wrapped alien objects descended on Fengziling, bringing seven mysterious creatures. Creatures can parasitize the human body, interfere with consciousness, and lead people to do evil.

The ancient great virtue and his disciples made seven wooden slips with sacred wood, introduced foreign objects into them, named them “Seven Heart Slips”, and then used meteorite iron to make Phoenix buckles to seal them.

Talented people of all generations have inherited the great virtue’s will, recorded the method of sealing the heart slips, and passed them down to future generations.

A hundred years ago, a dog accidentally dug out a wooden slip in Fengziling, and the heart slip reappeared in the world. Over the past twenty years, a series of bizarre murders have followed one after another.

Mu Dai, Luo Ren, Yan Hongsha, Yi Wansan and Cao Yanhua, five ordinary and passionate young people, formed the “Phoenix Squad” by chance and embarked on an adventurous journey to conquer the evil slips together.

Adapted from the novel “Qi Gen Xiong Jian” (七根凶简) by Wei Yu (尾鱼).
