Aki Shimizu’s ” Nakamura Sensei’s Monster Lectures: Because the Teacher Solves the Mystery ” will be made into a TV anime in 2025. The teaser visual and staff information have been released.

“Nakazenji Sensei’s Ghost Lectures: The Teacher Solves the Mysteries” is an original spin-off work that depicts the events leading up to Kyogoku Natsuhiko’s “Night Parade of One Hundred Demons Series.”

The story follows the protagonist, a female student named Kusakabe Kana, who meets the newly appointed Japanese teacher at her school, Kyogokudo (aka Nakazenji Akihiko), and together they face various supernatural incidents in a school youth tale of strange happenings.

The series began serialization in Shonen Magazine Edge (Kodansha) in 2019 and is currently being serialized in Comic DAYS. Nine volumes of the book have been released.

The animation will be produced by 100studio. The director will be Kumano Chihiro, the animation composition and script will be written by Oka Atsushi, and the character design will be done by Suzuki Masahiko. Other details will be announced shortly.

Regarding the anime adaptation, Shimizu commented, “I can’t believe that Nakazenji Sensei is being adapted into an anime! I’m very honored! As a viewer, I’m really looking forward to it.” Kyogoku also wrote, “The man born from the string of letters I wrote has acquired a physical form through Aki Shimizu’s magic, and now he moves and speaks. And he’s young. I can’t help but be amazed.” Shimizu also sent a congratulatory illustration.
