Episode 1: Huang Bei Shuang Ge Xin Wei swap identities
According to legend, the desert is vast, but water resources are extremely scarce, and the tribes fight for the oasis. The three major city-states in the desert, Yunpei, Tiandu, and Masui, are in full force, and other tribes need to exchange marriage for resources.
Because the strange book “The Great Desert Scroll” came out, in order to compete for this strange book, Yunpei City Na Zhan (played by Ji Lingchen) held a luxurious marriage banquet, and the turmoil in Masui City caused his family to flee, and they wanted to go to Tiandu City.
Princess Ge Xinwei (Hani Kezi) of Ma Sui fled with her mother to Tiandu City, wanting to ask for asylum from Tiandu City. Seeing the Ma Sui rebels catching up, Tiandu City remained indifferent and ordered the soldiers to shoot arrows.
Ma Sui Jiu was unfortunately shot and died. Before she died, she used her warhorse to escort Ge Xinwei and her nanny away and let them go to Yunpei City. Ge Xinwei firmly believed in revenge, and she planned to follow Ernaqi’s team to sneak into Yunpei City.
Ernaqi wants to use the marriage to ask for the protection of Yunpei City Lord, but Naxiu Huang Beishuang (Guan Chang) does not want to marry. She steals valuables and plans to escape. She happens to run into Ge Xinwei and her nanny.
Naxiu lies that there are sand bandits chasing her, but Ge Xinwei sees through her. Ge Xinwei learns that Naxiu is the Ernaqi marriage team she is looking for, and tells her about her experience.
Naxiu sympathizes with Ge Xinwei’s experience. She is unwilling to accept her status as a marriage partner. She thinks that marriage partner cannot solve the problem. Ge Xinwei believes that as a small tribe, there is no way out and she can only ask for the protection of the big city lord.
Naxiu is unwilling to marry and wants to find a chance to escape again. Ge Xinwei thinks that she is irresponsible to Ernaqi. After all, Ernaqi finally has this opportunity to marry. She took the initiative to offer to accompany Naxiu, expressing that she has the intention to marry, but she is not qualified.
Naxiu suddenly had an idea and asked Ge Xinwei to marry her and let her become the wife of the Lord of Yunpei City. Ge Xinwei reminded Naxiu to think it through. After all, after the two exchanged identities, Naxiu would become the fugitive princess of Ma Sui, and it would be difficult for her to survive in the desert.

Huang Tian Kuang bandit leader Ruo Wen (Gao Yang) took Ge Xinwei’s portrait and ambushed Ge Xinwei where she had to go. He took her back to the camp and robbed them of their belongings. Ruo Wen tied Ge Xinwei back but found that he had caught the wrong person.
He accused Man Hu of having wrong information and asked him to find out more about the most beautiful woman in the desert. Ge Xinwei lied that she was Ruo Wen’s woman and threatened Ruo Wen to let her go. Ruo Wen laughed wildly and said that he was Huang Tian Kuang Ruo Wen. Ge Xinwei was knocked unconscious by him before she could react.
Huo Qingyun (Fang Yilun) was injured while walking alone in the desert and happened to meet the Ernaqi team who were going to marry. Huang Beishuang took out ten bags of water to save him, and sighed at his kindness to the horses, seeing that the horses understood human nature. Huo Qingyun suddenly fainted, and Huang Beishuang rescued him and put him on the carriage.
After Huo Qingyun woke up, he found that Huang Beishuang had the “Great Desert Wonders” in her hand. He lied that he was doing business, and found out that they were from the Ernaqi tribe. He deliberately said that he was also going to Yunpei and reminded them to be careful on the road.
