Shibamata Taishakuten Temple locate at Shibamata Taishakuten Temple at 7-10-3, Shibamata, Katsushika-ku, Tokyo, Japan. The temple is just about 5 minute walk from Shibamata station and about 30 minute from KEISEI-Ueno. The highlight of this temple is carved wood Buddhist and garden view.

In the early 1900s, Shibamata was located in Katsushika district in northeastern Tokyo. It was the location of the famous Japanese film. The ShibamataTaishakuten Temple is the center of this city. Built in year 1629 has a long history. Characteristics of the temple sculpture carved wooden sculpture delicate side of the small temple outside the temple, and pine trees inside the temple is beautiful.

From the railway station, connect the front of the temple to the old shopping street. (Taishakuten-Sando) to enjoy the traditional Japanese sweets, known as the famous Wagashi (Wagashi) of Shimaka and Unagi of the old restaurant focused on selling freshwater fish. Yagiri no Watashi is also not far away from Tokyo.

  • From Tokyo Station, take the train line, JR Yamanote Line, get off at Nippori Station takes 12 minutes.
  • On Keisei Electric Line get off at the station Keisei Takasago
  • Use the cabin Keisei Electric Railway Kanamachi Line and get off at the station Shibamata.
