Ryōan-ji is a Zen temple located in northwest Kyoto, Japan. It belongs to the Myōshin-ji school of the Rinzai branch of Zen Buddhism. The Zen temple was registered as a World Cultural Heritage in 1994 by the UNESCO. Located in the city of Kyoto. The temple has a peaceful environment, as well as a world-famous rock garden. Many people come to this temple.

Many people come to this temple. To practice meditation at the small rocky cliffs of white area with 15 small stones placed at various points.   • From Kyoto Station take bus No.5 to the temple
  • In front of Ryoan-ji-mae Bus Stop in Kyoto City take Bus No.59 from Sanjo Keihan Line
