Abertay University was originally known for its expertise in computer games and design, and is the only university in the UK to be officially accredited in both subjects. In addition to these, Abertay University also excels in IT, Business, Economics and Biotechnology.

Abertay University was the first university in the UK to offer a Computer Gaming degree, and the course also includes a focus on Cyber ​​Security. Student housing options range from self-catering to university-sponsored accommodation. For first-year students, priority is given to accommodation. Abertay University also has a communal kitchen for students to prepare meals and other essentials. Rooms range in size from single to shared, and all rooms are within easy reach of the University, with 24-hour security on campus.

Location:

The Abertay University campus is located in the heart of Dundee, Scotland’s fourth largest city. Dundee is a historic city and has been the birthplace of the biomedical and technology industries since 1980, accounting for 10 per cent of the UK’s digital industry.
