Rijksmuseum is one of the most important museums with numerous paintings by Dutch master painters and the impressive of “The Night Watch” by Rembrandt van Rijn. The Rijksmuseum is a rijksmonument and national heritage site since 1970 and was listed in the 100 Dutch heritage sites in 1990.

The museum is open for everyone and when you visit the museum that you will learn more about the history and people in the Netherlands with different paintings on art works.

The Rijksmuseum open from 9.00 am to 17.00 pm everyday. The entrance fee for ticket is €20 and if your age under 18 is free.

How to get there:

  • By tram: take the line 2/5 and get off at “Rijksmuseum” station then continue to walk about 1 minute.
  • By bus: Take the line #347/357/397/ N47 / N57 / N97 and get off at Rijksmuseum station then walk about 1 minute to the museum.
