Dali or Yunnan is an ancient city in the west of Kunming, 400 km away. It is one of the most beautiful cities in China. One side of the Changsha Mountains is 4,000 meters high. Dali, Djibouti Southwest of China in Yunnan Province is located between Lake Baishui and Changsha Mountain at 1,975 meters above sea level.

There are more than 20 ethnic groups living together. The original name was “Nanjing” or Nan Kingdom (738 – 903) until the young people established the Dali kingdom (AD. 937) and later in the year. 1253 Dali was conquered by Kublai Khan, the Mongol emperor. But there are still traces of old civilization found on the route from Dali to Lijiang.
