Synopsis:
The story is set towards the end of the Shang Dynasty, a time often revisited to tell the story of an incompetent king who led his nation to its downfall. Ji Fa is a man who endeavors to make a change as he enlists the help of powerful people to achieve his vision.
During the Yu-Shang Dynasty, Emperor Yi moved his capital to Chaoge, hoping that the city would be thriving like a morning song. Time flies, the emperor passed to Emperor Xin. He was so happy, he went to crusade all around, conquered many surrounding countries, expanded the Chinese territory, and the Shang Dynasty reached its heyday.
The Shang dynasty fought on all sides and made the people unhappy. Fortunately, Ji Kao, the son of Xiqi Jichang, and the young hero of Yinjiao, the son of Emperor Xin, hope to save the people from fire and water with meager efforts. Ji Kao was framed into a slave camp, and Yin Jiao gave up his life to save him. On the way to escape, Ji Kao met Jiang Ziya, Nezha, Yang Jian and other capable people and strangers, and with their help, they fled back to Xiqi.
In 1048 BC, Ji Kao changed his name to Ji Fa, and together with the eight hundred princes, he collectively defeated Emperor Xin, and finally destroyed the Yin and Shang Dynasties. During this process, Yin Jiao mistakenly thought that his mother died at the hands of Ji Fa and turned to each other. After some contests, Yin Jiao finally understood that it didn’t matter who had the royal power, and that it was the most important thing to bring happiness to the Li people.
Yin Jiao committed suicide and Ji Fa ascended the throne to become the king of the Western Zhou Dynasty. He continued his common wish with Yin Jiao to make the people of the world happy. In the process of cutting down the story, the trajectories of these historical figures also left many places of interest and customs in the city of Chaoge.
