Myths and legends of Fuxi

Myths and legends of Fuxi
Legend has it that Fuxi sat on the square altar and listened to the qi of the Eight Winds, and then did gossip. Gossip is derived from the Book of Changes, opening the Chinese civilization. In modern times, asking for lots or throwing a cup is a simplified version of the Book of Changes. Because of the creation of gossip, people worship him as a god and respect him as the founder of gossip.
Another said that Fuxi means Pangu, the ancient meaning of the word “pan” is the beginning, and “gu” means gourd, which means the reproduction of life. After some tribes such as Yandi and Chiyou migrated to the south from the Yellow River basin, their ancestor Fuxi evolved into Pangu in legends, which was spread among the southern minorities, and evolved into the legend of Pangu creating the world.
