Ema Toyama’s “Vampire Men’s Dormitory” will be made into a TV Anime in 2024, with director Nobuyoshi Nagayama & Doko Machida working together.
Ema Toyama’s “ Vampire Boys’ Dormitory (Dormitory)” will be made into a TV anime. Director Nobuyoshi Nagayama and screenwriter Doko Machida, who worked on “Smile on the Runway” and “Uramichi Onii-san,” teamed up to produce the animation, with Studio Blanc producing the animation, which will begin broadcasting in 2024.
`Vampire Men’s Dormitory” will be made into a TV anime to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the serialized magazine Nakayoshi (Kodansha) and the 20th anniversary of Toyama’s debut. The main character, Mito, is a lonely beauty who lost her parents and was abandoned by her relatives. She disguised herself as a man and was kicked out of the store where she worked. He is picked up by a young man named Luka.
She ends up living with him in the dormitory of the all-boys school where he lives, but hides the fact that she is a woman, with the condition that if she is beautiful, she will use her blood as “food” for Luka… This is a romantic comedy that depicts the dangerous cohabitation life of a cross-dressing girl and a vampire. Up to 11 volumes have been published, and the total number of copies published has exceeded 250,000. The latest 12 volumes will be released on November 13th.
At the same time, the first teaser visual has been released. The image depicts Luka as if he is about to bite into the neck of a beautiful woman, creating a visual that hints at an exciting love story.
