In spring, the male goat Repu Rejisangjie and the ram Togo Yundanxirou go to the salt lake to drink salt water and eat green grass. Throughout the winter, the snow kept falling and the north wind kept blowing. They hid in a hole in the earth, feeling cold and hungry, and their bodies became thin.
On the way to the Salt Lake, you have to climb over a very high snow mountain. The eight hooves crawled unsteadily, like a drunk person because they were so weak. After finally climbing to the snow mountain pass, I didn’t expect a big bad wolf squatting on a big rock. The wolf showed its snow-white teeth, stuck out its blood-red tongue, and said, “Well done! I’m waiting for you for breakfast!” The billy goat Repu Regisanjie was so frightened that he quickly climbed down.
Guo Yundan Xirou came up to him with a smile, pretending to be honest and said: “Master, you see, we are both so thin, with nothing but hair on our bodies, just bones. If we eat them, I’m afraid they won’t hurt you.” The throat is just a cut on your belly; why don’t you wait until autumn, when we have three fingers of fat on our bodies and the sheep’s horns are leaking grease, then you can eat it, it will taste much better.” The big bad wolf thought.
I thought there was some truth to what it said, so I agreed to let them pass, but they had to write a document and swear an oath. The ram wrote a pledge in the snow with his hoof and signed his name with a pair of short horns.
The male goat and the ram spent a whole summer on the edge of the salt lake, drinking salt water and eating green grass, and their bodies became stronger day by day. When returning to my hometown, I have to pass through the snow mountain because there is no other road. As soon as they reached the bottom of the mountain, they saw the big bad wolf pacing back and forth at the snowy mountain pass, and they were impatient to wait. The male goat and the male sheep had no choice but to go together to find the most knowledgeable rabbit, Lodrup Gyaltsen.
After listening to the requests of the goats and sheep, the rabbit Luozhu Gyaltsen shook his long ears three times and said: “This big bad wolf on the snowy mountain has eaten many of our rabbits. I am thinking of ways to deal with this devil! Now you I’m here and I’ve brought my little rabbit’s method with me.”
“What can we do?” the goat and sheep asked stupidly.
“Uncle Goat, you have a nice beard and are very majestic. You can be my horse; Uncle Sheep, you are very stylish and look like a gentleman, so you can be my herald!” The rabbit jumped to their ears and chirped. After talking for a while, the three of them picked up some red, yellow, and green leaves and decorated themselves. Soon, the rabbit rode on the male goat, and the male sheep led the way, heading towards the snow-capped mountains in a majestic manner. As the sheep walked away, they shouted: “Our king wants to collect a hundred tiger skins, a hundred leopard skins, and a hundred wolf skins! Now there is only one wolf skin left! Gray wolf, don’t run away, let me Peel off your skin.”
When the big bad wolf heard this, he was so frightened that he ran away. Rabbits, goats, and sheep roared and chased. The wolf ran too fast and fell from a very high rock ledge. He was seriously injured and hid in a cave. None of the three friends could kill the wolf, so they moved a lot of stones and blocked the entrance of the cave.
The rabbit said: “Uncle Goat, Uncle Sheep, please stay here! After three days and three nights, this devil will be finished.”
The goats and sheep had no choice but to take turns guarding the entrance of the cave to prevent the big bad wolf from escaping. At the beginning, the male goat was on guard duty. He heard the big bad wolf howling in the cave, and Suosuo trembled with fear. The wolf asked: “What’s the noise outside?” The goat didn’t dare to answer. The big bad wolf asked three times, but the male goat had no choice but to say: “I’m scared, my knees smacked!” The wolf knew that the male goat was timid, so he pushed the stone with his head and tried to rush out.
At this time, the sheep came to watch. It kept rubbing its horn against the stone. The big bad wolf asked: “What’s the noise outside?” The sheep said: “I’m sharpening the knife to kill you.” After a while, it peed. The wolf asked: “What’s the noise outside?” The sheep said: “I’m pouring your boiling water.” Finally, the sheep pooped, and the wolf asked: “What’s the noise outside?” It loudly replied: “Big bad wolf! Big gray Wolf! I’m burning your cow dung!”
After hearing this, the big bad wolf never dared to run out again, so he starved to death in the cave.
