Betriek lives at the edge of a peat bog in the North of the Netherlands. When she and her family are attacked by a random stranger one night, Betriek sets out to find an explanation. The more she digs, the more she becomes convinced that she is being hunted by something ancient.
Slow but unpredictable storyline, and interesting lore, but not worth using raw materials with emotional builds.
Moloch – Don’t dig it up. It’s a Dutch movie. It tells the story of a young woman returning to her homeland. As soon as she rushed in, many strange things happened. That’s what you should know about it.
This is a folktale movie, indigenous legends, beliefs, rituals, etc. It’s going to be a slow, slow, long story. Stop by to see the birds and to see the wood. Pick up some unnecessary points to tell many stories. until some people waste time without reason But the admirable part is how the movie slowly tells the story. As we can guess, it’s really hard for more than half of the story. Until we are able to find out what the deal is and what it is related to.
But the movie didn’t tell the story. not complicated It is also wise to not take long to tell the story of the legend that happened in the movie for us to know. And also choose to present it out to be interesting as well. It’s a pity that the mythical, the terrifying, the terrifying story should be built up for us throughout the story. But it didn’t push much. There is a little bit of each along the way. Only at the end of the story it seems like it’s accelerating. But that’s over.
The actor Each person is responsible for their own duties as well. But not to the point of being wowed to stand out. Call it the standard it should be. convey emotions according to the role given Including the visual and sound work, it is still quite indifferent, not particularly impressed.
All in all, Moloch – don’t dig it up. It’s not a scary, exciting, thrilling movie. There are only certain scenes. Ingredients are ready, but they don’t build up. Overall, everything seems very mediocre. The storytelling is slow, flat, and rather boring. In the style of folktale movies, but still, the movie is not easy to guess. And the story of this legend is no less interesting.
