Kansai Thru Pass is single ticket that have special price for tourists to make a comfort traveling around Kansai area. In Kansai region of southern Japan with this ticket will allow you to travel either by train, bus or subway and stop as many cities as you like such as Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto and other nearby cities including Nara, Wakayama and Koyasan etc. So this Pass card can travel with unlimited to explore Osaka, Kyoto and many more city.
Kansai True Pass cards are available to choose from 2 days and 3 days pass. You can plan and choose which one that you take for your trip. This will get the best experience.
Kansai True Pass for 2 days Price are as (Price update @ May 21, 2019)
- Adults 4,300 Yen when you from outside Japan and within Japan is 4,400 Yen
- Children (6-12 years) 2,150 Yen
Kansai True Pass for 3 days travel Price are as
- Adults 5,300 Yen when you from outside Japan and within Japan is 5,500 Yen
- Children (6-12 years) 2,650 Yen
So the benefit that you will get by use Kansai Thru Pass are as;
- Kansai Thru Pass is allow you to travel unlimited in Kansai area. Example: From Kyoto to Osaka, Kobe, Mt. Hiei and Himeji. Get on and off the train or bus bound for Wakayama, Nara and Koyasan as you like during the period of validity (Excluding JR lines).
- With this pass will travel comfort and you can visit many place and cities as your wish within 2 or 3 days plan.
- You can use the card to travel between Osaka and Kansai International Airport.
- This pass can receive various privileges and promotions from over 350 shops and tourist attractions throughout the area.
- The Pass can be used on nonconsecutive days during period of validity. You don’t have to use direct day as Monday to Wednesday but can be use Monday then Friday and Sunday or other day.

Vehicles that cannot use Kansai True Pass as
- JR train is provided by the Japanese government
- Limousine bus, Highway bus, Midnight Express bus provided by Kansai Airport
- Universal Studio Japan Shuttle Bus
- In the case of express buses that have to reserve seats for Kintetsu / Nankai Railway. If they want to use the service then can be used with this pass but there will be extra charge fees for the book seat.
