A vaginal yeast infection is a fungal infection that causes irritation, discharge and intense itchiness of the vagina and the vulva — the tissues at the vaginal opening. Also called vaginal candidiasis, vaginal yeast infection affects up to 3 out of 4 women at some point in their lifetimes.
Description of the disease
- Fungus can cause itching, not having sex.
- It is caused by a fungus called Candida albicans .
- Contact through sex and or sexual contact or caused by other causes such as Incorrect hygiene and hormonal changes
- use of certain drugs
Symptoms of the disease
Patients often have itching. Lumpy white discharge similar to milk sediment. Some people have burning pain, burning, irritation or burning when urinating. vaginal pain during sex The vulva area is red. There may be a rash on the groin, around the anus, pubis, or thighs. Men may have an itchy rash on the tip of the penis and foreskin.
