Once upon a time there was a king whose family supported a monk. This monk has some supernatural powers and can predict many things. One day, he said to the king: “King, please allow me to report a very terrible thing to you.

This city will soon be flooded, and you and your subjects will stay at the bottom of the water like fish. The only way to do this is The way to predict the coming flood is to send someone to check the stone lions in the market every day. If the stone lions bleed from their eyes, the flood will come within seven days.” After that, no matter how the king tried to persuade him to stay, he still packed up and left. .

The king listened to the monk’s words and sent his three daughters to the market every day to buy meat. In fact, they were to look into the eyes of the stone lions. Right next to the stone lions, there were five masters selling meat. They were very surprised that the princess bought the meat herself. When they were together, they talked to each other: “Oh my God! There are hundreds of male and female servants under the king.

Why do you ask the princess to buy meat? There must be a reason.” One day, they proposed to the youngest princess that they question. The little princess saw that there was no one around, so she honestly told the story about the bleeding stone lion.

After the little princess left, the five businessmen got together and discussed with each other. They wanted to seize this secret and make a big fortune. At night, they secretly smeared the blood of cattle and sheep into the eyes of the stone lions.

The next day, the eldest princess came to buy meat. When she saw the stone lion’s eyes were bloody, she was so frightened that she didn’t even bother to take the meat. She ran in a panic and reported it to the king. The king quickly summoned all his ministers, announced the terrible news, auctioned the palace’s property at the lowest price, and fled to the mountains with his subjects.

Only these five butchers were laughing secretly. They bought countless properties and houses with very little money. They killed many cattle and sheep, cooked a large jar of wine, and each family took turns entertaining guests for three days to celebrate that they had become the richest man in the city overnight due to their cleverness. While they were drinking and having fun, blood really flowed from the stone lion’s eyes.

However, it was difficult to see because the merchants had smeared the blood of cattle and sheep on it. Seven days later, a flood flooded the entire city. The five businessmen and their property were swept away by the rolling waves.
