Radish Cake
Ingredients:
- White radish
- flour
- green onion
- sesame oil
- peanut oil
- salt
- pepper
Method:
- Peel the radish, wash and rub it into shredded radish, soak the shredded radish in hot water for 30 seconds, soak it in cold water for a while, take it out and squeeze it a little to squeeze out the water.
- Cut the green onion into pieces, add sesame oil, salt and pepper to the shredded radish, mix with the chopped green onion, stir well and set aside.
- Take 270g flour, pour in 10ml peanut oil and 2g salt, add cold water, knead into a smooth dough, leave for 15 minutes.
- Knead the dough a little, roll it into long strips, cut into small doses weighing about 30g, roll them into small strips, evenly coat the surface of the strips with peanut oil, put them in a plate, cover with plastic wrap and leave for 15 minutes.
- Brush a little oil on the chopping board, flatten the long strip, and roll it into a wider long piece, hold down one end of the long piece, and slowly stretch the other end to ensure that the dough sheet cannot be torn.
- Take about 30g of filling and put it on one end of the dough sheet. Lift up the dough, cover the filling, roll it first to the right front, then roll it to the left front, and so on alternately.
- At a distance of 20cm from the other end, roll it up to the front, and place the rolled cake upright for a while.
- Pour a little oil into the frying pan. When 50% hot, put in the flat cakes and fry them on low heat.
- Flip over when the bottom is browned and fry until golden brown on both sides.
