“Sleeping Nuwa” on the top of Taishi Mountain
“Huainanzi: Lan Ming” contains: In ancient times, the four poles were abolished, and the Kyushu was divided; the world was overturned, but the land was not contained; the fire was not extinguished, the water was vast and the ocean was endless; the beasts ate the people, the birds of prey Grab the old and the weak.
So Nuwa smelted five-colored stones to make up the sky, cut off the claw to set up the four poles, killed the black dragon to save Jizhou, and accumulated reed ashes to stop the water. The sky is replenished, the four poles are positive, the stagnant waters are dry, Jizhou is flat, the worms are dead, the people’s livelihood is ruined, the Fangzhou is behind, and the sky is round. And spring and summer, kill autumn and winter, pillow square sleep rope.
Those who are obstructed by yin and yang know how to make sense of it, and those who harm the people and accumulate a lot of evil things against qi must stop it. So why does Nu Wa want to mend the sky? “Lunheng·Tantian” is described in this way: “Confucianism says: ‘Gonggong and Zhuanxu compete for the emperor, they are invincible, and they are angry and touch the mountains that are not Zhou, so that the pillars of the sky are broken, and the ground is maintained. Nuwa sells and refines five-color stones to make To make up the sky, breaking the claws is enough to set up the four poles. The sky is not enough to the northwest, so the sun and the moon move; the earth is not enough to the southeast, so the hundreds of rivers pay attention.”
The Legend of Our Lady of Kowloon
There is a mountain in the northwest of Junji Peak, the highest peak in Taishi Mountain, called Huagai Peak. Legend has it that the Yellow Emperor once came to visit, and worshipped Huagai as his teacher to formulate the calendar. Hua Gai is said to be a capable man living on that peak. Because he often observes celestial phenomena, understands the laws of the sun, moon and stars, and finds out the changes of the four seasons in spring, summer, autumn and winter, which is of great help to human life and plant growth, he is famous far and near.
Later, people called the mountain where he lived as Huagai Peak according to the name of the Huagai star in the Heavenly Palace in the four astronomical phenomena.
After Huangdi defeated Chiyou, for the sake of the life of the tribe and the development of agricultural production on the basis of the cultivation of grains taught by Emperor Yan, he personally led his ministers to Mount Songshan to visit Huagai. At that time, the mountains were dense with trees, and there were many wolves, tigers and leopards. They used bows and arrows to drive away wild beasts and made their way forward, while shouting to each other to gather various fruits in the forest.
They went back and forth to turn around many peaks and valleys, and finally found the old man Huagai. He was a 100-year-old old man with a childlike appearance. He was very talkative. He was very honored to hear about the arrival of the Yellow Emperor. The three divisions and the twelve divisions are described separately, and their relationship with people’s life and plant growth is discussed. Huangdi listened with interest, and from time to time interjected to ask questions, or put forward his own views. He asked Cang Jie, the minister who was accompanying him, to write down all the important things. The old man Huagai was very happy, and Huangdi was also very satisfied, thanked him again and again, and went down the mountain.
When the Yellow Emperor returned to the capital of Youxiong, he immediately arranged for the formulation of the calendar, letting Xihe occupy the sun, let Chang Xi occupy the moon, let the old district astrology astrology, let Da Nao Zuojiazi record the day with stems and branches, and let Rong Cheng comprehensively formulate the six laws. calendar. Divide the year into four seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter, then divide it into twelve months, and then divide it into twenty-four solar terms.
In this way, according to the changes of the four seasons, temperature, rainfall and phenology, the cultivation of crops and the development of agricultural production have played a great role in the improvement and improvement of people’s lives.

After Yao passed away, he succeeded to the throne. He consulted the Four Mountains, and selected a wise man to govern the civil society, and Yu, who had made great achievements in water control, was selected as his successor. Emperor Shun also left a lot of legends in the Songshan area.
