The Republic of India (Hindi: भारतगणराज्य, English: Republic of India, India), referred to as “India”, is located in South Asia and is the largest country in the South Asian subcontinent.

It borders Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and China in the northeast, Myanmar in the east, Sri Lanka in the southeast, and Pakistan in the northwest. Marathi: This ethnic group accounts for 7.6% of the total population of India, mainly in Maharashtra. Mainly believe in Hinduism and Buddhism. Marathi people love wrestling and are good at cricket, hockey and badminton.

Gujarati: This group accounts for 4.6% of the total population of India and is mainly distributed in the state of Gujarat. Speak Gujarati, the majority believe in Hinduism, and a few believe in Islam and Jainism. Mainly engaged in agriculture, handicrafts are also more developed.

Canadians: account for 3.87% of the Indian population, speak the Canadian language, and are distributed in Karnataka.

Malayalam: 3.59% of the Indian population, speaking Malayalam, distributed in Kerala.

Punjabi: This ethnic group accounts for 2.3% of the total population of India, mainly distributed in Punjab, India. Most people speak Punjabi, and a few speak Hindi and Urdu. Believe in Sikhism and Hinduism. Most people are engaged in agriculture, and a few are engaged in animal husbandry and handicrafts. Punjabis can sing and dance.

Assamese: Mainly distributed in Assam, India, speaking Assamese. Believe in Lord Shiva. Engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. Rice is the staple food, especially tea.

Odisha: Mainly distributed in Odisha. Orissa people mainly believe in Hinduism. Orissa has always been known as the hometown of Hinduism and is known as the holy land of Hinduism. The Orissa people eat rice as their staple food and dress in simple and plain clothes.
