Meibii “The Wedding Ring Story” Animated 2023!
Meibii’s “Wedding Ring Story” 「結婚指輪物語」will be made into a TV animation. Hajime Sato and Akari Kito will appear.
The work is a romantic comedy fantasy depicting the main character, Sato, who has come to another world chasing his childhood friend Hime. Satou, who has been in love with her Hime, learns that she will move far away from her on the day he decides to confess her feelings. Surprised by her sudden breakup, Satou, who can’t give up on Hime, follows her to a different world… Serialized in Monthly Big Gangan (Square Enix).
Sato is in charge of Satou, and Kito is in charge of Hime. In addition to comments from the two, a newly drawn illustration arrived from Meibii along with a comment commemorating the anime adaptation.
What are you looking forward to in animation?
Above all, I’m looking forward to seeing the five heroines actually move and speak! It was my dream to draw a so-called harem manga with multiple heroines relatively seriously and have it adapted into an anime, so I’d like to see it come true as soon as possible. I’m most looking forward to the interaction between girls, which is unique to multiple heroines! The original work has some naughty parts, so of course I expect that the anime will do as much as possible in that area! Also, the cool parts of Sato and the other men!

At the audition, I said to my manager, “We have the same last name, so it would be great if I got the role!” I was very happy that I chose it because it was also a work I had originally read. I would like to challenge the work with a total of 6 powers, the ring for the heroine prepared for the role, and the ring given to me by my grandmother as a protective charm!
