Synopsis:

Annie Landsberg (Emma Stone) and Owen Milgrim (Jonah Hill) are two strangers who agree to take part in a new pharmaceutical trial. Everyone has their own reasons for this. Annie tries to cope with a broken relationship, and Owen worries about schizophrenia, which he was diagnosed with as a child. Dr. Mantleray’s (Sally Field) new medicine promises to fix everything, including a broken heart. But for some reason, no one wants to talk about side effects.
