Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva chants the Buddha’s Perfect Chapter

The Mahasthamaprapta Dharma Prince, together with the fifty-two Bodhisattvas of his kind, stood up from his seat, bowed at the Buddha’s feet, and said to the Buddha: “I recall the past, aeons of sands of the Ganges River, when a Buddha appeared in the world named Infinite Light, and the twelve Tathagatas came one after another. One calamity, the last Buddha is named Beyond the Light of the Sun and the Moon.

That Buddha, I, recites the Samadhi of the Buddha. For example, if there are two people, one is dedicated to remembering and the other is dedicated to forgetting. If these two people do not meet each other or see each other, the two will remember each other.

Remembering deeply, even from birth to birth, the Tathagata of the ten directions has compassion for all living beings, like a mother remembering her son. If the child escapes, what is the purpose of remembering the mother?

At that time, the mother and the child were not far away from each other. If all sentient beings remember the Buddha and chant the Buddha’s name, they will definitely see the Buddha. They are not far from the Buddha. They will not be far away from each other, just like a person whose body is filled with fragrance. This is called the fragrant light. In my original place, with the mind of Buddha, I enter the realm of non-birth endurance.

Now in this world, I attract people who chant Buddha and return to the pure land. I have no choice but to absorb the six roots and have pure thoughts one after another. , to achieve samadhi, this is the first.”
