Guitar tab (TAB), also called six-line tab, is a tab composed of six lines used to intuitively express the fingering of the left hand in guitar playing; the position of the left hand on the strings and the fingering of the right hand; the fingering of the right hand for plucking or strumming. Guitar tab It is a special guitar tab that is universally used in the world. Below are pictures of several common guitar tabs.

Tab The three common guitar six-line tabs in the above picture are all composed of six parallel lines. The left side represents the guitar headstock, and the six lines from top to bottom represent the 1st string (the thinnest string on the guitar) – the 6th string (the thickest string on the guitar).
