Canglong Ridge is a famous landscape on Huashan Mountain in Xiyue. It is a dangerous path from Yuntai Peak to the “Three Peaks of the World”. From a distance, it looks like a dragon soaring into the sky, parading between two mountains. The dragon’s spine is abrupt and less than three feet wide, with abysses on both sides. When the clouds surge over Mount Huashan, they are looming, very magical and dangerous.
There is a “Yishen Cliff” at the top of Canglong Ridge, on which are engraved six characters: “Han Tuizhi’s Book Office”. This ruins contains an interesting story about Han Yu, an outstanding writer of the Tang Dynasty, who visited Mount Huashan.
In the late Tang Dynasty, Han Yu was demoted and was in a very bad mood. He happened to meet his nephew Han Xiangzi and Lu Dongbin, a monk from Huashan. The two persuaded Han Yu to visit Huashan to relieve his depression. Han Yu has always been interested in Mingchuan Mountains, but because he was busy with government affairs in the past and had no spare time, he couldn’t travel.
Today, after they mentioned it, it was just what he wanted. He said, “It’s fine, but the road is rugged. How can we get there?” Han Xiangzi said, “What’s the difficulty?” So the two Taoists carried Han Yu’s ladle to the top of the mountain, and then they left.
Han Yu stood on the top of the peak and looked around. He saw Mount Huashan with its many mountains, lush pines, secluded paths, and the singing of strange birds. It sounded sweet to the ear, just like a fairyland outside the sky. He walked on the mountain and visited Zhenyue Palace, Yujing Tower and Erbasu Lake. He looked at the west peak, which was majestic, with lotus leaves covering the top, rocks carved into caves, temples built according to the mountain, and roads carved out of huge rocks. The mountains, sun, and sky reflected each other’s brilliance, and the green grass and trees set off each other, creating an infinite wonder.
The beautiful scenery attracted Han Yu to write poems, so he chanted: “On the top of Taihua Peak, there is a lotus in the jade well. The flowers bloom ten feet like a boat. The cold is sweeter than frost and the snow is thicker. The entrance is healed from the disease. I want to go far, and there is no way to go on the green wall.” Yin Yuan. Ande went up a long ladder to pick fruits and planted Qize roots. After chanting, he happily climbed to the top of the Yangtian Pond to enjoy the highest point that “can lead to the emperor’s seat”.
He came to the south again At Tianmen, he watched the long sky plank road soaring high in the sky. With a feeling that he couldn’t let go, he walked around the East Peak and enjoyed the “Huayue Celestial Palm”, the first of the eight scenic spots in Guanzhong.
After getting off the Jinsuo Pass, he came to Wu Yunfeng, I thought: It’s easy to go up the mountain but hard to go down, so I took a step forward and walked down. In a blink of an eye, I came to the top of “Canglong Ridge”. Looking down, I saw the vast sky. Canglong Ridge looked like a single bridge in the clouds and mist, with both sides invisible. Bottom. Facing this scene, Han Yu couldn’t help but be stunned, his body was weak and his legs were trembling, and he didn’t dare to take a step (Huashan in the Tang Dynasty was not like today’s chiseled stone steps, with railings to protect the road, and it was dangerous to walk on the road.
In the Tang Dynasty, it was not like this) There are just a few stone nests carved roughly on the back of the “dragon”. Visitors here can only climb up and down using their hands and feet. How could such a dangerous situation not frighten Han Yu, who was good at writing and writing? ). But it was impossible not to go down the mountain. The Huashan Mountain at that time was not comparable to today.
It was deserted and deserted, and insects and beasts were infested. It was not a place to stay for a long time. Han Yu mustered up the courage to go down, but he couldn’t walk a few steps before he went back, and his feet slipped from time to time. It was really Taking two steps back, he was sweating nervously and trembling all over.
In order to lighten his luggage, he threw all the books he brought down the ridge, but he still couldn’t move forward half a step. After being trapped for a long time, he couldn’t help but think of his rough experience. He cried loudly and lamented: “Is it possible that I, Han Yu, am buried here? ! ”
But Han Yu was a wise man after all. His strong desire to love life and life made him think in a hurry, so he took out the pen and inkstone he carried with him, quickly wrote a letter asking for help from a peak and then went down the mountain. Soon, the medicine collectors in Huashan wrote this letter He reported this to the Huayin County Magistrate, who sent someone to rescue Han Yu down the mountain.
Later, Zhao Wenbei, a 100-year-old man from Shanxi Province, visited the “Han Tui’s Bookstore” and laughed endlessly when he felt Han Yu’s anecdotes.
Later generations also inscribed on the side “The poet Zhao Wenbei cried loudly when Han retreated in Canglong Ridge and laughed at Han Chu when he was 100 years old”.
Later in the Qing Dynasty, Li Bai climbed up to this point. When faced with a cry and a smile, he showed another mentality and wrote a poem: “The danger of Hua is the mountain. Han Lao cries Zhao Lao laughs, one bitter smile conveys two wonderful things.” . Li Bai neither laughs nor cries, but howls on Independence Ridge.”
This anecdote left by Han Yu in Canglongling adds a lot of interest and reverie to us. The dangerous beauty and magical charm of Canglong Ridge will deeply attract the hearts of the world.
