Hiroshima City is the city of Hiroshima Prefecture in Japan and also the largest city in the Chugoku region in the west part of Honshu Island. It is also the first city in the world to be attacked by nuclear weapons on B-29 aircraft during World War II. The city now become the location of Hiroshima Peace Memorial. The city is important Japan’s military since the prewar hundreds years ago. On August 6, 1945, the city was reduced to ashes by the first atomic bombing in human history. In year 1996, the Atomic Bomb Dome was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Now Hiroshima has recently been dubbed to the City of Water and beautiful city landscapes with nature.
