Summary:
This collection of poems includes 325 untitled poems, most of which have only one or two lines, or capture a natural landscape, or tell a story. The poetry collection does not have a clear logical structure and a clear center. It is only a record of the poet’s feelings, reflections, and emotions in daily life.

“Flying Birds” was created in 1913, and the first edition was completed in 1916. Part of the “Flying Birds” is translated by the poet’s own Bengali maxim poetry collection “Broken Jade Collection” (1899), and the other part is the impromptu English poetry when the poet visited Japan in 1916. The poet stayed in Japan for more than three months, and there are always ladies who ask for their inscriptions on the fan or the commemorative album. The poet once praised the simplicity of Japanese haiku , and his “Flying Birds” was obviously influenced by this kind of poetry.
