Synopsis:
“The Audience” by the creator Peter Morgan. Peter Morgan and production partner Stephen Daldry will jointly serve as the producer of the show. The drama “The Audience” was performed at the beginning of 2013. The story describes that Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom receives the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom once a week and listens to him or her to report on various aspects. Since taking over as Queen in 1952, Elizabeth II has maintained this tradition to this day.
Helen Mirren played Elizabeth II in the original drama. Netflix invested up to 100 million US dollars in the TV series “The Crown”, which shows that this Internet media giant attaches great importance to the show. It is said that the time span of each season of the play is 10 years, and the plot will fully reproduce the legendary political and private life of Elizabeth II. The Chinese are accustomed to letting an actor play from 16 to 60, but Americans obviously don’t like to do that-in this play, at least three (or more) actors will play Elizabeth II (youth, youth, Middle age and old age).
In the first season, the 25-year-old Elizabeth II (Claire Foy) faced the first big challenge in her life-she had to meet the domineering and combative Prime Minister Winston-Churchill (John Lithgow) Build a good relationship and smoothly take over the power of the British Empire. The grievances between Buckingham Palace and No. 10 Downing Street are still playing out in secret to this day. How many secrets are there in the British royal family that looks glamorous on the surface? Conspiracy, trickery, power and love, these will be closely integrated with the major events experienced in Britain in the first half of the 20th century. Former “Doctor Who” (Doctor Who) Matt Smith plays Prince Philip Mountbatten, the husband of Elizabeth II.
