How to make an appointment for a Spanish Tourist Visa

Spain is a Schengen country. If you travel to the Schengen agreement countries, you can only apply for a visa for one of them. In principle, choose to apply to the embassy of the main destination country in China. If the main destination is uncertain or the stay time in each destination is average, apply to the embassy of the first destination country.
Required materials for a short-term tourist visa in Spain:
1. An application form filled in by hand or by printer in English or Spanish capital letters, which must be signed by the applicant. (Minors must add the signature of the legal guardian).
2. A recent photo, in color, with a white background, about 26-35mm wide and 32-45mm long.
3. The passport is valid for at least 3 months after the expected time of departure from the Schengen country (with more than 2 blank pages available) and copies of all pages.
4. Personal travel medical insurance: This insurance must cover all expenses for medical assistance and return to the home country for unexpected situations that may occur when the applicant stays in the Schengen country. The insured amount is at least 30,000 Euros or equivalent in RMB.
5. Air ticket reservation: if applying for a multiple-entry tourist visa, the air ticket reservation for the first trip. Note: A confirmed round-trip air ticket is required. Tickets should be paid after the visa is issued!
6. Proof of accommodation: proof of accommodation covering the entire journey
7. Travel plan: a document that can clearly show the travel plan (traffic reservation, itinerary, etc.).
8. Proof of the applicant’s solvency: bank statements of the last 3 to 6 months, no proof of deposit is required.
9. The original of the household register (no translation required): and copies of all pages of the household register (applicable to Chinese citizens) / non-Chinese citizens need to submit a valid Chinese residence permit.
10. Minors (under the age of 18): original copy of student ID card and certification letter issued by the school, including the following information:
- 1) The detailed address and phone number of the school
- 2) Leave certificate
- 3) Name and position of approver
- 4) One copy
11. When minors travel alone or with one parent:
- 1) (When the minor travels alone) issued by both parents or legal guardians, or (when the minor travels with one parent or guardian) Notarization of travel consent issued by the other parent or guardian who is not traveling The certificate shall be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; when it is handled outside China, the relevant overseas government agency shall handle the notarization

12. On-the-job personnel:
A copy of the company’s business license stamped by the company you work for; a letter of certification issued by the employer (English document, or Chinese with English translation), which must be on the company’s official letterhead paper with official seal, signature, and specify the date and the following information:
- 1) The address, telephone and fax number of the company where you work
- 2) The name and position of the signatory of the company
- 3) Applicant’s name, position, income and working years
- 4) Leave certificate
Retired people:
- Proof of pension or other regular income
- Unemployed adults:
- Married persons: proof of employment and income of the spouse, notarial certificate of marriage relationship (certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
- Single/divorced/widowed: other proof of regular income
13. Copy of temporary residence permit
If the place of household registration does not belong to the consular district, please provide a temporary residence permit or a temporary residence certificate issued by the relevant local department (such as the police station).
