Pad thai, phat thai, or phad thai, is a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly served as a street food in Thailand as part of the country’s cuisine. It is typically made with rice noodles, shrimp, peanuts, a scrambled egg, and bean sprouts, among other vegetables. The ingredients are fried in a wok.
Pad Thai Recipes
Pad Thai Sauce Ingredients:
- 200 ml of water
- 50 grams of tamarind
- 170 grams of palm sugar
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 ½ tbsp fish sauce
- 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
Pad Thai ingredients:
- Moon line
- 1 egg
- Shallots
- 2 tbsp diced tofu
- Sweet radish, sliced 1 tbsp.
- 1/2 tbsp dried shrimp

How to make Pad Thai Sauce
- Prepare a mixing bowl and put 200 ml of water in it. followed by tamarind Mash until the tamarind is dissolved together. When finished, use a colander. Strain only the tamarind juice and put it in the pan.
- Put 170 grams of palm sugar, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 2 ½ tablespoons of fish sauce, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice into a saucepan and simmer over low heat. until the sugar dissolves well.
How to make Pad Thai (Noodle)
- Bring the moon noodles to a boil until cooked. Once cooked, then filter the water out. and leave the moon line
- Heat a pan, add oil, use medium heat, add sliced shallots, dried shrimp, diced tofu, sweet radish and stir-fry until fragrant, then set aside on one side of the pan.
- Put the egg on the other side. Stir until the eggs are well cooked, then set aside on the other side of the pan.
- Use a ladle to scoop 3 ladles of pad Thai sauce prepared, then add the moon noodles. Stir-fry with the sauce to combine. Once done, stir-fry with the egg and other ingredients and mix to combine
- Add chives, bean sprouts and stir to combine again
- Then sprinkle with peanuts and a little chili powder. Stir everything together.
- Scoop pad Thai into a box Served with spring onion and halved lemon, finished.
