Indian Masala Tea

Indian Spiced Milk Tea (Masala Chai) is hot Indian-style milk tea with spices. Suitable for winter.

Ingredient: for 2 cups

  • 2 teaspoons black tea leaves
  • 200 ml of water
  • 200 ml. fresh milk
  • 1 green cardamom
  • 1 clove
  • 2 black pepper seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder


Mixture preparation time: 5 minutes and Cooking time: 10 minutes

  1. Pound the green cardamom, cloves and black pepper seeds thoroughly. Tip: If you don’t have black tea leaves You can use tea leaves in sachets by using 2 tea bags.
  2. Bring water to a pot, bring to a boil, then add black tea leaves, ginger powder, cinnamon powder and other pounded spices. and continue to boil for about 1 minute. Tips: – If no ginger powder You can use fresh ginger instead. by grating ginger Or smash it first.   3. Add fresh milk and bring to a boil again. until a frothy bubble comes up Tip: Be careful that the milk tea is boiling until the pot overflows. If the pot overflows with boiling, reduce the heat.
