Synopsis:
In the mid-1970s, Zhou Qing, the husband of Dianthus, a female worker in the street carton factory, was assigned to work at the Xingkai Lake Farm. Dianthus persisted in raising children in a small town in northern Jiangsu, trying his best to deal with the hardships and accidents in life. After settling the chaos, Zhou Qing returned home, but was separated from Dianthus due to an emotional misunderstanding.
