Synopsis:
Xu Tan has a shy personality. Under the influence of his grandfather who loves table tennis, he started to learn table tennis to keep fit when he was a child. Later, when he was facing leaving table tennis, he was discovered by Bo Le. Through strict technical, physical and psychological guidance, he finally overcomes all kinds of hardships and difficulties. Pressure has become the most comprehensive and trusted absolute main force in the team. Yu Kenan has an untrained character. He learned to play with his former ping-pong national player since he was a child.
Since childhood, he aspired to become a world champion. He has always been advancing on the road of ping-pong, confident and proud, and is considered a genius player. The two grew up together, experienced and witnessed a history of Chinese table tennis together, and finally stood at the two ends of the world’s highest table tennis court for the sake of national honor and ideals in life.
Endless competitions take place on the ping pong tables with two young men at the center. Xu Tan is physically weak but strongly passionate and Yu Kenan is unruly but talented. Despite their opposite personalities, Xu Tan and Yu Kenan’s mirror the same journey in their sports careers and witness a pivotal time in the history of Chinese ping pong.
Xu Tan is a player who undergoes a major transformation. Under the influence of his grandfather, he starts the sport to improve his health and gets noticed for his abilities. Yu Kenan is the star player from a famous family who comes to realize that there are many things he has yet to learn. For their dreams and for the sake of their country, they stand at two ends during the biggest competition of their lives.
