Synopsis:
“Long Live Life” is an urban drama directed by Zhou Xiaogang and starring Liu Wei, Wang Ou, Sun Yizhou, Dai Xu and Chen Yanqian. The play tells the story of the father, Zeng, who reflects on himself after waking up from a coma, and helps his four children find their lives, understand and embrace life through a series of ridiculous incidents. Old Zeng Zeng Jianguo suddenly fainted in a community basketball game, leaving a seemingly harmonious family, conflicts erupted. The eldest, Zeng Zhidong, is a university teacher who has given his family for many years but has not been recognized.
The second child, Zhiting, is the chief surgeon of the city hospital. He is too busy to take care of his family for a long time. He is the most rational person in the family, but his love with sister Xiang from the car repair shop is difficult to make public, and Zeng Zhiting, the fourth child who resembles Lao Zeng, is still so inconsistent when her father fell. During the time when Lao Zeng fell, the family’s accumulated grievances over the past few decades were revealed, and the four children continued to contradict each other. Just as this “battle” was at its most difficult time, Lao Zeng in the hospital bed woke up.
