Tenshoji Temple is Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan which located at 522-4 Tenshojimaecho, Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture 604-8081, Japan. This temple was built in 1339 to dedicate to Emperor Niko in the temple, whose name is still the same as the first abbot of the temple. This temple was registered as a World Heritage Site in 1994.
