Mendenhall is a 19 km long glacier originally called Sitaantaagu, before being renamed in 1888 by the Mendenhall Glacier, located just south of downtown Juno. Southeast. The glacier covers an area of 5,815 acres.

Mendenhall Glacier (also Sitaantaagu) is a glacier about 13.6 miles (21.9 km) long located in Mendenhall Valley, about 12 miles (19 km) from downtown Juneau in the southeast area of the U.S. state of Alaska.
