Kansai or Kinki well known as the city site of the ancient capital of Nara and Kyoto. Kansai region is a very important region from the past on both politically and culturally. Especially, Nara which is Japan’s first permanent capital during that time. In the past, the capital would be moved after the death of each king. Kansai District consists of 7 provinces which are:
1. Mie
Mie located on the island of Honshu. The capital is Tsu and predominantly in the automotive industry, shipbuilding and pearls beef tea product known as lobster.
2. Shiga
Shiga located on the island of Honshu which is the capital of the Haute. The leading companies that have headquartered in her such as IBM Japan, Canon, Yanmar Diesel and Lake Biwa. The largest freshwater lake on the Japanese island is a recreation area.
Interest place to visit in Shiga include Lake Biwako and Hikone Castle.
3. Kyoto
Kyoto is located on the island of Honshu. Kyoto is the capital city in the past and Kyoto used to be the ancient capital of Japan. This still remains as the old city to the present day. Especially many tourist attractions in the religion side.
Interest place to visit in Kyoto including Arashiyama, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kyoto Tower, Kyoto Palace, Nishiki Market, Golden Castle Temple, Kinkakuji, Ryoanji Temple Nininji Temple and so on.
4. Osaka
Osaka is located on Honshu Island. Osaka is the capital and is the second largest city and port city of Japan. This also well know as an industrial city with many well-known products such as Sharp, Sanyo Glico Nishin, etc. It is a province with many universities.
Interesting place to visit in Osaka including Osaka Castle, Universal Studios, shopping at Namba, aquarium, Chi Yu Kang and so on.
5. Hyogo
Hyogo located on the island of Honshu. Kobe is the capital of Hyogo and is a large industrial city. They have one of the important ports in Japan and many western houses.

6. Nara
Nara is the former capital of the oldest style in Japan and located on the island of Honshu. Minara is the capital city of Nara. In the past, there was a connection with China in the Sui and Tang dynasties and was the first place of Buddhism spread in Japan. So there are places that maintain traditional Japanese architecture and now is a World Heritage Site. Famous products of this province are strawberries, watermelons and goldfish.

7. Wakayama
Wakayama located on the island of Honshu and the capital of Wakayama. This prefecture have the primary output such as oranges, apricots, pickled cow and the site of a Buddhist temple. This is authentic Japanese architecture and being the first temple in Japan during period of time.
