Synopsis:
Set in the late 1990s, miner Li Chun Sheng returns home to a grand celebration after he wins the title of National Model Worker. There, he meets and falls in love with Bai Jie, but her mother opposes the relationship. Nonetheless, Chun Sheng perseveres and takes care of the Bai family when they’re hit by disaster.
