Prambanan or Candi Prambanan or Prambanan Temple is a structure that is no less important than Buraphuttha because it is the largest Hindu temple in Southeast of Asia. This were created to dedicate in 3 great Hindu gods namely Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva and the animal deity. This image was reconstructed around 1390 BC but was abandoned after they finish build. Until the year of 1918 when restoration began and restoration of building ended in 1953. Candi Prambanan Temple located in the Central Java region of Indonesia about 18 kilometers east of Yogyakarta.

Prambanan is a group of stone buildings that looks like a temple or castle with 8 main deities in the middle with a small stone for more than 200 houses and wall. The outstanding architecture of Prambanan is the Devalai and the carving on the exquisite wall have story about gods or Ramayana with other legends showing in the grandeur. There beauty and importance of Hinduism from the past.

The main structure is large and distinctive in the 3 large Devalai houses in the middle of the Devalai group. Look on East side you will see their designed like a Carambola-shaped pagoda which is influenced by Indian art. The largest most prominent and tallest central post standing is about 47 meters on the temple which is built in honor of Shiva. The other two smaller ones on the north side and south sides are temple built for Vishnu and for Brahma.

In the 17th century, there was a great earthquake and causing Pram Banan to suffer heavy damage. There are only 10 temples that do not collapse. Black rock clusters are scattered on the path to the temple which remains after the earthquake. After being forgotten for many centuries in 1930, this historic area was renovated under the help of the international community in 2006 when a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck the area. The remaining pagoda after the earthquake has a major restoration project. In 6 years, the three main deities have been restored and opened for tourists to visit.
