There are 6 building in this areas. Bryggestredet is the name of this paved fire lane which was constructed after the fires of 1955 and 1958. The purpose of the lane is to prevent fire from spreading and to give fire engines access to Bryggen. The fire lane cuts right through the old settlement structure, and a number of buildings had to be torn down, or moved, to make way for it. This place is located in Bergen and near river side of the city.
