Istana Nurul Iman Palace in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei

The Istana Nurul Iman is the official residence of the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, and the seat of the Brunei government. The palace is located on a leafy, riverside sprawl of hills on the banks of the Brunei River, a few kilometres southwest of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei’s capital city.

The Palace is the largest palace in the world. Is the imprint of Sultan of Brunei and the royal family. Built in 1984, US $ 1.4 billion on 2,152,782 square feet includes a gold dome, 1,788 rooms, 257 bathrooms. There are 5 swimming pools in the palace. Horse riding stables for polo. 110-capacity car park, banquet facilities that can accommodate up to 4,000 people and a mosque with a capacity of 1,500 people. The palace is also a collection of luxury cars.
