How the hill of death in India disappeared?

Mohenjo-Daro (2600 BC-1800 BC), also known as “Mound of the Dead” or “Mound of the Dead”, was an important city in the Indus Valley Civilization, circa 2600 BC Built in 2000, located in the southern part of Larkana County, Sindh Province, Pakistan today, Mohenjo-Daro is one of the early ancient cities in the world, known as “the metropolis of ancient Indus Valley civilization”.

Other ancient civilizations include ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, China and Crete. It is mostly believed that it was an urban civilization created by the Dravidians (that is, short blacks) before the invasion of the white Aryans in ancient India.

The archaeological site of Mohenjo-Daro was declared a World Heritage Site in 1980. Together with the Harappan civilization, it is called the representative of ancient Indian civilization.

The ruins of Mohenjo-Daro city are located in Larkana district of Sindh province in present-day Pakistan, and it was already quite large in 2500 BC. The ancient city covers an area of 8 square kilometers and is divided into the upper city in the west and the lower city in the east.

The upper city is home to religious priests and city leaders, surrounded by walls and ditches, with many watchtowers built on the city walls, towers, courtyards, and the world-renowned Mohenjo-Daro baths. The bath covers an area of nearly 1,200 square meters, and it is all made of fired bricks. The ground and walls are filled with gypsum and asphalt, so they are watertight. There are separate bathrooms juxtaposed around the baths, with narrow entrances and cleverly designed drains.

Compared with the upper city, the lower city is much simpler, not only does not have a neat layout, but all the houses are built relatively low, and some people speculate that it may be the residence of some ordinary citizens or laborers.

According to the investigation of the ruins of Mohenjo-Daro city by experts, it is found that the architectural layout of this city is very reasonable, and it has a very clear construction plan, and even has some characteristics of a modern city.

The shape of the city is rectangular. Whether it is the upper block or the lower block, the streets are in a checkerboard shape, but there are also wide avenues running east-west and north-south. Residents’ houses are generally divided into upper and lower floors, and each residence basically has a bathroom, a toilet and an underground drainage system connected to it.

In addition, most of the residences have courtyards in the center and bedrooms around them. Therefore, experts believe that people should be living and working in peace and contentment at that time, and the civilization of the city has reached a very high level.

So how was Mohenjo-Daro destroyed? In the study of the city of Mohenjo-Daro, a peculiar phenomenon caught the attention of scientists: there were obvious signs of an explosion in the city, and the damage was so extensive that only the most remote buildings survived.

Scientists also found scattered fragments in the center of the ruins, which were sintered from clay and other minerals. Experiments by some experts have proved that the melting temperature of the ruins at that time was as high as more than 1,000 degrees, and only a furnace or a fire source that lasted for many days could reach such a high temperature.

But there was never a forest here, so scientists had to conclude that the fire was caused by the Big Bang. Some people say that the nuclear explosion was the reason for the destruction of the ancient city, but common sense tells us that human beings had the first atomic bomb after World War II, and it was obviously impossible to appear more than 3,000 years ago.

After continuous exploration and demonstration by scientists, a reasonable explanation was finally made: it was the electromagnetic field and cosmic rays in the atmosphere that caused the explosion. Due to the abnormal activity of chemical particles in the air, a substance called aerosol is produced, which quickly forms many small balls of different sizes, also known as “cold balls”. The “cold ball” can poison the air, and the residents of the city can’t bear the torment of this poisonous gas, and then there is a big explosion.

In the end, the city of Mohenjo-Daro was wiped out.
