- When Rudolf decided to leave the company and lead 1/3 of the employees to set up a new shoe factory on the other side of town. The name of the company Ruda comes from the first 2 letters of their first and last name before later changing to Puma.
- On the younger side, Adolf changed the name of the company to Adidas which is derived from the same nickname and last name.
- After the two brothers became competitors, Adidas continued to develop many kinds of sports shoes. By focusing mainly on the performance of the shoes is unique as 3 stripes that have become a memorable image of Adidas to this day.
- Puma, on the other hand, turns its focus to football and running shoes. By choosing the “mountain lion” logo on the shoes represents agility and speed.
