Bratislava is the capital city of Slovakia and is the largest city. This city is like a transit city for people traveling from Prague to Hungary. It is an old town that has a cuteness hidden in a classic. The city’s history is influenced by many races: Austrian, Czech, German, Hungarian, Jewish, and Slovak.
Bratislava is heavily influenced by neighboring Austria, and many indigenous communities have contributed to its history and culture building. It borders Austria and Hungary. It is the only capital city in the world that borders two countries. The city and Vienna are also two of the closest capital cities in Europe.
Located less than 60 kilometers apart, Bratislava is Slovakia’s administrative, cultural and economic center. with the Danube flowing through the middle Bratislava is one of the warmest cities in the country. The weather is generally mild and has warm summers. There is occasional snow in winter. There are many interesting points within the city. before we enter the city of Bratislava We had to cross the New Bridge (Novy Most) to cross the city.

1. Novimost Bridge
Novimost Bridge It is a bridge over the Danube in Bratislava. capital city of slovakia a cable bridge In the middle of the bridge is a tower shaped like a spaceship open as a viewpoint. Construction during the year 1967-1972 and was officially opened on August 26, 1972 as the second bridge across Bratislava’s Danube.
2. Slovak National Theater
The historic building of the Slovak National Theater , built in a very beautiful neo-Renaissance style, is located on Hviezdoslav Square, built in 1885–1886. Designed by a Viennese architect, the grand fountain in front of the building was built in 1880 before the building was built. In front of the building is a long road with outdoor courtyards, fountains, monuments of important figures such as HVIEZDOSLAV statues, etc. There are also small kiosks selling souvenirs along the road, with cafes, restaurants and hotels to serve tourists.
3. Michael’s Gate
Michael’s Gate, one of the oldest buildings in the city, is the only gate preserved from medieval times, built around 1300. The Maimil arch is Gothic. 51 meters high with 7 floors, the top of the onion-shaped dome has 3 tiers in descending order. We were able to go up to the top of the tower for a view of the city. We will see colorful old buildings in Arnouveau style, cafes, restaurants, and also musicians who come to perform on the corner of the street. Walking to listen to music is very enjoyable.
4. The Old Town Hall
The Old Town Hall is a beautiful and distinctive building inside the Bratislava City History Museum. What we’ll notice is the grand, ocher-painted, 1370-year-old clock tower. Visitors can climb to the top of the tower for a spectacular view of Bratislava’s main square. In front of the building is Hlavne Namestie Square, with the Maximilian Fountain, built-in 1575.
5. Cumil Man
Cumil Man at work is located on Laurinska and Panska streets, a statue of a man emerging from a sewer. A man emerging from an aqueduct is a sculpture in the Old Town of Bratislava. A strange statue was installed in 1997, the water which has become a symbol of the city.
