The Dharma and Discipline that we have already demonstrated ordinances for you that discipline be your teacher when we have passed away.”
The Buddha was seriously ill. but reluctantly, he headed to Kusinara and stayed at the Sal forest to pass away. before his death He was ordained to Phra Suphadtha Parin. which can be considered “Phra Suphaphattha” is the last disciple ordained by the Buddha. in the midst of the Sangha, even though he is an arahant and mortals from various regions, including angels, who gathered today
At that time, His Highness gave the last testimony: “Look, monks. We tell you all All sankharas naturally decay. So they do their own good. and the interests of others to be complete with negligence” (
Oppamaten Sompatet) and then went to death under the Sal tree at Salwanodhayan of the Malla Kings. Kusinara city, Malla region, on the 15th day of the waxing moon of the 6th lunar month, including 80 years of life and today is the beginning of the Buddhist era.
